But Inter star insists that he is
happy in Milan, while Rafael van
der Vaart takes a swipe at the
northern city, claiming all the
players come to London in their
free time
Inter playmaker Wesley Sneijder
has fuelled speculation linking
him with Manchester United by
describing the club as 'beautiful'.
The Dutch international has long
been linked with Sir Alex
Ferguson’s side - dubbed a
potentional long-term
replacement for the aging Paul
Scholes - and it appears Sneijder
could be ready to contemplate a
move to the Premier League, but
insists that he is content will
playing in Milan.
Speaking on Dutch regional
television Studio Ajax: "Do I
want to go to United? It's a
beautiful club. But I'm fine in
Milano and not at the point to
think about it."
Sneijder has been the attention
of many potential suitors this
season following a star showing
last season, in which he helped
inspire Inter to their first ever
treble and also was the focal
point of the Netherlands side
which reached the World Cup
final.
Nonetheless, Inter president
Massimo Morratti has played
down the chances of the Dutch
international leaving the San
Siro.
Speaking about the specualtion
last month, the Italian confirmed
United's interest, but played
down talk of a transfer.
“The interest from Manchester
United in Sneijder is real,” said
Moratti. “But I didn’t look into it.
My only interest is seeing
Sneijder play here for many
more years to come.”
Meanwhile, Tottenham forward
Rafael van der Vaart was also a
guest on the TV show and joked
that players from Manchester
were looking to move to London
and suggested Sneijder would be
wise to do the same.
He said: "All the players from
Man United and City are coming
to the city of London in their
own time. I think that says
enough about that city
[Manchester]."

Drogba-Kaka swap is out of the
question, claims Chelsea boss
Carlo Ancelotti...
Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti
has dismissed reports
suggesting that the defending
Premier League champions are
willing to swap striker Didier
Drogba for Real Madrid
midfielder Kaka.
Drogba's future at Stamford
Bridge is riddled with
uncertainty following the arrival
of Fernando Torres from
Liverpool and he also has a close
relationship with Madrid coach
Jose Mourinho.
The Spanish giants are in search
of a forward in the summer and
Kaka has played under Ancelotti
at Milan, flaring up suggestions
that a Drogba-Kaka swap is in
the offing.
However, Ancelotti has
dismissed these rumours and
told La Repubblica, "Will I ask
[Chelsea owner Roman]
Abramovich for Kaka,
[Alexandre] Pato or [Andrea]
Pirlo? We have already taken
Ramires, Torres and David Luiz.
"The exchange of Kaka for
Drogba is fantasy football."
The Italian added, "I don't think
that Chelsea have spent a lot in
the last year. "We added five
players from the youth system
instead of five with high
salaries."

THIS SEASON HAS BEEN MY
BEST AT MANCHESTER UNITED -
NANI

But winger reckons his success
will be measured in terms of
trophies
Nani believes that this season
has been his best so far at
Manchester United.
The 24-year-old has put in
strong performances
throughout the campaign,
scoring nine goals and providing
11 assists in 22 appearances in
the Premier League.
But the former Sporting
midfielder insists that the
yardstick he will use to judge his
contributions will be the number
of trophies that the Old Trafford
outfit win this campaign.
"It's my best season at United,
but the most important thing is
to win the trophies with the
team," said Nani, according to
The Mirror.
"When I have won the trophies, I
will look back at how I have
contributed."
The current season marks a
dramatic turnaround in the
career of the Portuguese player,
who was a Red Devils outcast
less than two years ago.
"I always tell everyone I have
ambition and it is not easy to
give up on Manchester United,"
he said. "But at the same time
you come to Manchester United
to play. I am feeling so good
with the team now and I have
been doing so well, but I know I
can do much more.
"That is why I'm training hard
every day and staying fit for
every game. It's good to have so
many goals and assists.
"And it's so good to know that
when you are on the pitch your
confidence is so high you want
the ball all the time, because
everything is going so well.
"It's good that people are
looking to me because this is my
life - I do everything for the
football and I want to get even
better."
He added: "I just want to be
Nani, a good player. People enjoy
seeing me play."
Nani, who currently stands 29th
in the Castrol Rankings, remains
unwilling to compare himself to
his Portugal and former United
team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo,
who left the Red Devils to join
Real Madrid in 2009.
"Ronaldo calls me to wish me
good luck and tells me how well I
am doing," Nani said. "We are
good friends.
"But I don't compare myself to
Ronaldo or anyone else. I just
think about myself, the club and
what I can do for them."
Sir Alex Ferguson's charges also
have a series of important
games coming up during the
coming weeks, with away days
at Wigan Athletic, Chelsea and
Liverpool in the league, followed
by an FA Cup game against
either Arsenal or Leyton Orient.
And the players will then have to
shift their attention from the
domestic to the European stage,
with the reverse leg against
Marseille scheduled to take place
on March 15.
"We have some massive games
coming up," Nani said. "The next
few weeks are going to be very
important for us.
"We are focused on winning
every game because we know
the results in the next few
matches could be decisive."
